Welcome to Spark & Story. By visiting our website, purchasing from us, or otherwise using our services, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

Throughout these Terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Spark & Story. “You” refers to any visitor, customer, or user of our website.

1. Online Store Terms

By using this website, you represent that you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction.

You may not use our products or website for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose, nor may you violate any applicable laws while using our services.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any lawful reason.

2. Jewelry & Product Information

We make every reasonable effort to accurately describe and photograph our jewelry, including materials, stone types, measurements, condition, and other relevant characteristics.

Because jewelry is photographed under different lighting conditions and viewed on different screens, colors and appearance may vary slightly from what you see online.

Natural gemstones, diamonds, pearls, vintage jewelry, and handmade or individually finished pieces may contain natural variations, including differences in:

• Color

• Pattern

• Inclusions

• Texture

• Shape

• Finish

• Stone placement

These characteristics are part of the individuality of the piece and are not necessarily considered defects.

Measurements and carat weights may be approximate unless specifically stated otherwise.

3. Vintage & One-of-a-Kind Jewelry

Some Spark & Story jewelry is vintage, pre-owned, limited quantity, or one-of-a-kind.

Vintage jewelry may show minor signs of age or previous ownership. We inspect our pieces carefully and disclose noticeable flaws whenever possible.

Minor characteristics consistent with the age or nature of vintage jewelry are not considered defects unless the item was materially misrepresented.

Once a one-of-a-kind item has sold, an identical replacement may not be available.

4. Gemstones, Diamonds & Moissanite

Product listings will identify stones according to the information available to Spark & Story, including supplier documentation, testing, certificates, or our reasonable assessment.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, jewelry should not be interpreted as independently appraised or laboratory certified.

When a piece includes a GRA report, gemstone certificate, appraisal, or similar documentation, that documentation applies to the specific item or stone described in the listing.

Natural gemstones may contain inclusions or variations that are normal for the material.

5. Pricing

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice.

Although we try to ensure that pricing and product information are accurate, errors may occasionally occur.

If an item is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical, technical, inventory, or other error, Spark & Story reserves the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

6. Orders & Availability

Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance of the order.

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel an order for reasons including:

• Inventory errors

• Pricing errors

• Suspected fraud

• Payment issues

• Duplicate orders

• Incorrect product information

• Suspected unauthorized resale activity

• Violations of these Terms

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, the applicable amount will be refunded.

Many Spark & Story pieces are available in extremely limited quantities, including items that are one-and-done.

Inventory availability is not guaranteed until your order has been successfully processed.

7. Payment

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information.

You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the total amount of your purchase, including applicable taxes and shipping charges.

Spark & Story does not directly store complete credit card information when payments are processed through third-party payment providers.

8. Shipping

Shipping times provided on our website are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Once a package has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery may be affected by circumstances outside our control.

Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate before completing your order.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and deliverable address.

9. Returns & Final Sale Items

Returns are governed by our separate Return & Refund Policy.

Certain products may be designated final sale.

For hygiene and safety reasons, nose rings are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Additional jewelry, including worn earrings, customized pieces, altered jewelry, clearance merchandise, or products specifically marked Final Sale may also be ineligible for return as described in our Return & Refund Policy.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and agree to the return conditions associated with your order.

10. Jewelry Care & Customer Responsibility

Jewelry is delicate and should be treated accordingly.

Exposure to water, perfumes, lotions, chemicals, cleaning products, sweat, chlorine, saltwater, or improper storage may affect jewelry over time, particularly plated jewelry.

Unless specifically described as waterproof, jewelry should not be assumed to be waterproof.

Spark & Story is not responsible for damage caused by:

• Improper use

• Improper cleaning

• Normal wear

• Accidental damage

• Exposure to chemicals

• Swimming or bathing while wearing jewelry

• Improper storage

• Repairs or alterations performed by third parties

11. Allergies & Skin Sensitivities

Although we identify jewelry materials whenever possible, individual sensitivities and allergic reactions vary.

Statements such as “hypoallergenic,” when used, describe materials commonly considered less likely to cause reactions but do not guarantee that a customer will not experience irritation or an allergic response.

Customers with known metal sensitivities should review product materials carefully before purchasing.

12. Children & Jewelry Safety

Jewelry may contain small parts and may present a choking, strangulation, or injury hazard.

Unless expressly marketed for children, Spark & Story jewelry is intended for adult use.

Customers are responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for themselves or another wearer.

13. Promotions & Discount Codes

Promotions, coupons, sales, and discount codes may be subject to separate conditions.

Unless otherwise stated:

• Discounts cannot be combined

• Discounts cannot be applied retroactively to completed purchases

• Promotional pricing may end at any time
